Maybe you could have added a shadow on the floor... But overall, it is a great work.

Also, there's something about the green magic on the feet that seems a little off for me, I'm not sure what though, it doesn't feel like something that was planned, like if you just wanted to add more magic to the character. But this is just my very subjective opinion.

ExCharny responds:

Ops, I clearly forgot about adding shadow (It is on every other concept) and little light bouncing from ground. I might change it when I am bored, thanks

Amazing work, lighting is great. Just one thing, maybe you could add something to let the viewer know the scale of this place, you know, maybe a simple human silhouette or something...

Acrylla responds:

Good point! I'll try including it in future work :)

I think that's very good for no line art. And two things that could help you:

1) Try drawing over and alchemy design thingy. If you don't know alchemy, Just google alchemy drawing software or something, it's free and very good to generate something that will trigger ideas.

2)I think you could improve on your values, more contrast on the main area you want to feature, and maybe darker shadows in general.

If Bryan Cranston got a dollar for each fanmade portrait of Walter White, he would have the same amount of money as Heisenberg had by doing meth.

The characters are really good, the black one specially. However, you lighting is kind of weird, is not bad, just misused. Because is too bright at the top, where there's nothing going on, and where your characters are, is just too dark to distinguish them. You almost had it, adding the lights to the head flippers thingy. But you made the mistake to place that part (the head) where the background was also bright. So yeah, just keep your values in mind, make your focal point have more contrast. Keep that in mind and the quality of your work should improve amazingly, because is not bad now, but it could be better.

I think the perspective is good, the colors are quite interesting as well. But your weak spot; shadows! Right now is just too flat.

You have light rays coming from the top right. They should be casting shadows on everything...

GameBlock responds:

yee, I can see it now, thanks for pointing it out. I guess i have to study now
